First Vice President of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva has shared a post on her official social media accounts on the occasion of February 2 - Azerbaijan Youth Day.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the post emphasizes the vital role of the younger generation in the nation's future. "I am sure that Azerbaijani youth will always please our people with their successes, victories, and achievements, and will make worthy contributions to the development of our country," the First Vice President stated.
Azerbaijan Youth Day was first established in 1997 following a decree by National Leader Heydar Aliyev. The date serves to highlight the state's commitment to fostering a capable and patriotic younger generation. In Azerbaijan, youth policy is a priority, with numerous state-funded initiatives supporting education, innovation, and the integration of young professionals into the country's socio-economic development.
