Liverpool have equalled the club record for the fewest goals scored in their first five home games of the current Premier League season, statistics service Opta reported.
The team lost 1-0 to London side Arsenal on Nov. 1 in the 10th round of the league. Liverpool have scored just four goals in their five home matches this season, matching the club’s lowest tally at this stage in England’s top division.
Liverpool had previously scored four goals in their first five home games only in the 1913-14 and 2012-13 seasons. The club has therefore equalled the record for the first time in 13 years.
