Real Madrid defender Eder Militao’s home in Madrid’s La Moraleja district was burgled on October 25 while the Brazilian was playing Barcelona in La Liga, El Mundo reported.
Two people entered the house through a third-floor bathroom window. At the time, Militao’s relatives were watching the football match on television on the ground floor and did not see the intruders.
The jewelry and watches stolen were worth more than 350,000 euros in total. The stolen items included a Rolex watch valued at 53,000 euros, Richard Mille watches worth 170,000 euros, three Chanel bags and Cartier jewelry.
The report said the home’s alarm system had been switched off and one of the surveillance cameras had been removed. Police are examining footage from the other cameras.
