Donald Tramp: ABŞ narkotrafikə qarşı quru əməliyyatlarına başlayır

US President Donald Trump has issued a statement regarding ongoing efforts to prevent the illegal entry of narcotics into the country.

Operative Information Center-OMM reports that during a press conference held at the White House, the head of state highlighted that drug trafficking conducted via water transport has been reduced by 97%.

The President emphasized that stringent measures will be implemented in the near future to combat smuggling entering through land routes:

"Very soon, we will be dealing with the drugs coming by land. We know exactly where they are coming from," Trump noted.

Previously, in various interviews, the American leader stated that drug cartels effectively control Mexico and announced that sharper steps would be taken against this threat. The administration's strategy involves a multi-faceted approach to border security, aiming to dismantle the logistical networks of international criminal organizations.

The issue of drug trafficking remains a central pillar of the current US administration's domestic and foreign policy. By focusing on land-based smuggling routes, the White House aims to curb the flow of synthetic opioids and other illicit substances that have contributed to a significant public health crisis in the United States. These operations are expected to involve enhanced surveillance technology and increased coordination between federal law enforcement agencies.
