Manchester City lost 1-0 at home to Brighton & Hove Albion in the ninth round of the 2026/2027 English Premier League season. The match was played on October 31 at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester and officiated by a refereeing team led by Craig Pawson.
The only goal came in the 11th minute, when Brighton midfielder Yasin Ayari scored.
After nine matches, Manchester City lead the standings with 21 points. Arsenal, also on 21 points, are second with a game in hand, while Brighton are third on 19 points.
Manchester City will visit Nottingham Forest on November 7 in the next round. Brighton will host Brentford on November 8.
