Next year, Azerbaijan’s state budget is set to allocate Azeristiliktechizat OJSC a subsidy of 33.8 million manat, the same amount as this year, to cover losses arising because heating service tariffs are below the cost of providing the service.
“Operative Information Center-OMM” reports that the allocation is included in the draft 2027 budget package.
The document is being discussed at a meeting of the Milli Majlis (National Assembly) Committee on Economic Policy, Industry and Entrepreneurship today.
The budget package also projects 60 million manat for major repairs to state-owned residential buildings in cities, districts and settlements, including roofs, facades and stairwells; 40.6 million manat for lighting; 47.1 million manat for planting and maintaining greenery and landscaping; 37.7 million manat for housing and utilities enterprises; and 6.3 million manat for maintaining the elevator network.
