Some e-scooter users have recently been observed violating traffic rules.
The Main State Traffic Police Department provided the information to “Operative Information Center-OMM”.
The department said it was particularly concerned by two people riding on one e-scooter, ignoring red traffic lights, making sudden and dangerous manoeuvres, and obstructing pedestrians.
The department urged e-scooter users to obey road signs and traffic lights, stay within speed limits and give due consideration to pedestrian safety:
“Let us remember that road culture means not only following the rules but also respecting the rights of other road users.”
