International contacts show that Azerbaijan is a trusted and respected partner.
“Operative Information Center-OMM” reports that President Ilham Aliyev made the remarks at the opening ceremony of the 7th World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue, held in Baku under the theme “Dialogue for a common future.”
The head of state said:
“Our international contacts show that we are part of a community that inspires trust and confidence and earns respect. We have agreements on strategic partnership with two superpowers. We signed agreements on strategic partnership with China in April 2025.
At the same time, we signed a Charter on strategic cooperation with the United States. We also have a strategic partnership with the European Union.
Next year, our country will host the summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation. We will chair an important organization that brings together nearly 60 countries. This is also a demonstration of our respect for politics, religion and values.”
