Chairman of the Administrative Chamber of the Shaki Court of Appeal
Biography
Rovshan Rafiq oglu Rafiyev graduated from the Faculty of Law of Azerbaijan State University in 1990. From 1992 to 1997, he worked as a chief laboratory assistant, first-category laboratory assistant and junior research fellow at the Scientific Research, Technical and Methodological and Criminalistics Institute of the Ministry of Justice; from 1997 to 2008, he worked as a senior expert at the Ballistic and Trace Evidence Examinations Department of the Centre for Forensic Examinations of the Ministry of Justice.
From 2008 to 2011, he was a judge of the Ganja Local Economic Court, and from 2011 to 2013, a judge of the Ganja Administrative-Economic Court. He has been a judge of the Shaki Court of Appeal since 2013.
By Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 6 May 2025, he was appointed Chairman of the Administrative Chamber of the Shaki Court of Appeal.
