Biography
Mirza Vahid oglu Mirzayev was born in 1992 in Baku.
He began his career in 2011 as an economist at the Scientific and Cultural Center of the Administration of the Icherisheher State Historical-Architectural Reserve, where he worked until 2013. From 2015 to 2016, he was a leading adviser in the Economics Department of the Ministry of Education; from 2016 to 2017, director of TAN LLC; and from 2017 to 2018, an internal auditor at the Capital Construction and Supply Department of the Ministry of Education.
From 2018 to 2019, he was a state tax inspector at the Main Department of Tax Audit of the Ministry of Taxes; from 2019 to 2024, he served as head of a department and deputy head of that Main Department. Since April 2024, he has headed the Main Department for Taxpayer Registration and Accounting of the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy. On February 10, 2026, he was appointed Deputy Chairman of the State Agency for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control by order of the President.
