Biography
Ilgar Ilham oglu Hasanov was born in 1980 in Baku.
He began his career in 1999 as an engineer at the AzEuroTel Joint Venture, where he worked as an economist and department head until 2005. From 2005 to 2016, he was director of Aztrank LLC, project manager at the Azerbaijani representative office of Canada's Stonepay Commercial Construction, and director of AzEuroTel LLC.
From 2020 to 2022, he served as Deputy Director General of the Azerbaijan Institute of Standardization and as Head of the Standardization, Technical Regulation and Certification Department at the State Service for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control. On December 16, 2022, he was appointed Deputy Head of the Service by presidential order. From February 2025, he served as an adviser to the Chairman of the Agency. On February 10, 2026, he was appointed Deputy Chairman of the Agency by presidential order.
