Elmar Heybat oglu Jamalov

Biography
Elmar Heybat oglu Jamalov was born on 16 December 1969 in Baku.
In 1992, he joined the prosecution authorities and worked as an investigator and senior investigator at the Lankaran Garrison Military Prosecutor's Office, and from 1993 as a senior investigator at the Investigation Department of the Military Prosecutor's Office. From 2000 to 2005, he served in the tax authorities.
In 2005, he was admitted to the prosecution authorities by transfer and worked as an investigator and senior investigator for major cases in the Investigation Department of the Directorate for Combating Corruption under the Prosecutor General. From 2010, he served as Deputy Head of the Directorate for Supervision over the Implementation of Laws in the Investigative, Inquiry and Operational-Search Activities of the Ministry of National Security, the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the State Border Service under the Prosecutor General's Office; from 2012, as Senior Assistant to the Prosecutor General; from 2014, as Prosecutor of the Sheki District; and from 6 November 2019, as Prosecutor of the Mingachevir City. By an Order of the President dated 21 May 2020, he was appointed Deputy Prosecutor General. He holds the highest special rank of State Justice Counsellor, 2nd class.
He is a member of the Board and the Higher Attestation Commission of the Prosecutor General's Office, and chairs the Disciplinary and Ethical Conduct Commissions. He has been awarded the jubilee medals “100th Anniversary of Heydar Aliyev (1923–2023),” “100th Anniversary of the Prosecutor's Office of Azerbaijan (1918–2018)” and “30th Anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan (1995–2025).” He is married and has four children.
