Bahruz Vidadi oglu Ahmadov
Deputy Prosecutor General – Military Prosecutor of Azerbaijan
Biography
He was born on July 4, 1984, in the settlement of Banka, Neftchala District.
In 2008, he was recruited to serve in the prosecution authorities through a competitive selection process. He began as a trainee investigator at the Karabakh Military Prosecutor’s Office, and subsequently worked as an investigator and senior investigator. From 2012, he served as a prosecutor-criminalist in the Criminalistics Department of the Investigation Directorate for Serious Crimes of the Military Prosecutor’s Office; from 2014, as an investigator and senior investigator for particularly important cases in the same directorate; from 2018, as Military Prosecutor of Gazakh; and from 2020, as Head of the Investigation Directorate of the Military Prosecutor’s Office.
By Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated May 13, 2025, he was appointed Deputy Prosecutor General – Military Prosecutor of the Republic of Azerbaijan. He holds the military rank of Major General of Justice. In 2020, he was awarded the “For the Motherland” medal, and in 2026, the jubilee medal “30th Anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan (1995–2025)”.
Education
In 2006, he graduated from the Faculty of Law of Baku State University with a degree in Law.
