The 36th NATO summit is slated to be held in the Turkish capital, Ankara, on July 7–8. This event serves as a critical platform for member states to address collective security challenges, reinforce transatlantic ties, and discuss the alliance's strategic priorities in an evolving global security landscape.
NATO summits are periodic meetings that provide leaders of member countries the opportunity to assess and direct the alliance's work. As the primary political and military alliance for its members, these summits often result in major policy shifts and strategic decisions regarding regional stability and defense cooperation.
