Traffic congestion has been reported on several major roads in Baku, impacting commuters during peak hours.
The Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the Intelligent Transport Management Center (ITMC) has issued an advisory regarding the current road conditions.
As of the latest update, traffic delays are being observed in the following areas:
- Baku-Sumgait highway, in the direction of the "20 January" metro station;
- Tbilisi Avenue, from the intersection with Izmir Street towards the "20 January" metro station;
- 1st Lake Side Road, in the direction of Ziya Bunyadov Avenue;
- 8 November Avenue, from the intersection with Ramiz Guliyev Street towards the city center;
- Heydar Aliyev Avenue, in front of the "Koroglu" metro station, on the main road, heading towards the city center;
- Ziya Bunyadov Avenue, from the intersection with Ahmad Rajabli Street to the intersection with Ataturk Avenue.
