“The current government’s main goal is to leave future generations an Armenia with internationally accepted borders and open doors.”

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan made the remarks during a panel discussion titled “MaskOFF,” organized by the Restart Foundation in Yerevan, Armenian media reported, according to Operative Information Center-OMM.

Young people attended the event. The head of government also said he believed a decision would be made in 2029 to introduce visa-free travel with the European Union and that construction of an academic campus would begin.

He added that if peace is established, there would be no obstacle to implementing these or other projects.

“No one can give a 100% guarantee that the main tasks — putting the peace achieved on a legal footing, ensuring economic resilience and eliminating dependence on energy — will be accomplished. Reaching these goals is difficult, but not impossible,” the country’s leader stressed.

The prime minister said education would play a very important role in achieving these goals, not only among the younger generation but throughout society.
