Borussia Dortmund head coach Niko Kovac said Sabah were a strong opponent after their UEFA Champions League league-phase match.
He called his team’s 2-1 win important and said he was satisfied with the match. Kovac said his players performed well in attack and carried out their instructions on the pitch.
The coach said Sabah showed their quality and played attractive football. He added that his team made the most of its chances and had numerous shots on goal in the opening 10 minutes. Kovac also said it was his team’s third away match in a week.
On October 19, German outlet N-tv analyzed the upcoming match between Sabah and Borussia Dortmund and named the German club as the favorite.
