NATO and Ukraine have signed a memorandum granting Kyiv access to the Alliance’s DIANA program.
“Operative Information Center-OMM” reports, citing foreign media.
The memorandum aims to adapt civilian technologies for military needs and support the development, financing and deployment of dual-use technologies.
The document, signed by NATO’s DIANA fund and Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense, will give Ukrainian companies and startups the opportunity to take part in tenders in NATO member countries, receive grants and use more than 200 test centres.
DIANA, or the Defence Innovation Accelerator for the North Atlantic, is a NATO initiative supporting the development of defence innovations.
