The Audit Chamber has issued an opinion on the draft law “On the 2027 State Budget.”

The Chamber held its next Board meeting, chaired by its head, Vugar Gulmammadov. The budget draft opinion was discussed first. The opinion assesses whether the draft state budget law and accompanying documents comply with current legislation, as well as the accuracy and completeness of projected state budget revenues and expenditures and the budget deficit.
The Board discussed the main findings and recommendations presented in the opinion and exchanged views on relevant issues. It then decided to approve the opinion and submit it to the Milli Majlis (National Assembly).
The meeting also discussed the Audit Chamber’s opinion on the 2027 budget draft of the State Social Protection Fund under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population. Board members reviewed the findings of the analysis and the recommendations made. The Board then decided to approve the opinion and send it to the Milli Majlis (National Assembly).
