The next meeting of the Collegium of Azerbaijan’s Audit Chamber, chaired by Chamber Chairman Vugar Gulmammadov, discussed the auditor’s report on the results of the audit of the State Social Protection Fund’s revenues and expenditures for 2025, presented by auditor Vafa Mutallimova.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports, citing the Chamber, that the meeting was attended by Elshad Musayev, deputy chairman of the Milli Majlis (National Assembly) Committee on Labor and Social Policy; Zaka Mirzayev, chairman of the Management Board of the State Social Protection Fund under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population; and Deputy Chairman Safar Mehdiyev.
During the discussion, the lawmaker expressed several views and put forward proposals regarding the audit findings. The Fund’s chairman said the audit results would contribute to improving activities in the relevant field and noted that the proposals and recommendations put forward would be taken into account.
At the conclusion of the discussions, a decision was adopted to approve the auditor’s report and require the audited institution to take the necessary measures to eliminate the identified deficiencies. The State Social Protection Fund is responsible for administering social insurance and related protection mechanisms in Azerbaijan.
