Manchester United remain interested in Everton centre-back Jarrad Branthwaite. The Manchester club made an offer for the player several years ago, but Everton rejected it, Football Insider reported.
According to Football Insider, Liverpool are also monitoring the 24-year-old defender. The Merseyside club are impressed by Branthwaite’s performances and could try to sign him next year.
Everton have set the player’s transfer fee at £80 million (96 million euros). According to Transfermarkt, Branthwaite’s market value is 45 million euros.
Branthwaite has made seven appearances in all competitions this season. His current contract with the club runs until the summer of 2030.
