Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov has begun a working visit to the United States.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the Kyrgyz president’s press service provided the information.
Japarov was welcomed at the airport in Salt Lake City, Utah, by Utah Senate President Stuart Adams.
During the visit, Japarov will hold meetings with state officials and learn about US experience in tourism and sustainable mountain development.
The Kyrgyz president will then travel to New York, where he will attend events held during the high-level week of the general debate of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly. He is also scheduled to hold a series of bilateral meetings with US heads of state and executives of major companies.
The UN General Assembly’s high-level week brings together world leaders for discussions on international cooperation and key global issues.
