Three passenger planes were forced to make emergency landings in Bulgaria today.
“Operative Information Center-OMM” reports that Bulgaria’s Transport Ministry made the announcement.
According to the ministry, two of the planes, flying from Madrid to Copenhagen, had to land in Sofia. Another aircraft, flying from London, landed at Plovdiv Airport.
All three emergency landings were attributed to security concerns.
Earlier, a passenger plane flying from Dublin to Rome received a bomb threat and was forced to land at an air base in France.
