The Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, Albania, and Lithuania, along with the Secretariat of the Organization for Democracy and Economic Development (GUAM), have extended their official congratulations to the government and people of Azerbaijan on the occasion of Independence Day.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, these messages of goodwill were published through official statements on the social media platform X.
In its statement, the Pakistani Ministry of Foreign Affairs conveyed its "sincerest congratulations to the government and people of Azerbaijan on the occasion of Independence Day."
The Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs of Albania issued a similar message, stating: "On the occasion of Azerbaijan's Independence Day, Albania extends its congratulations and best wishes to the people and government of Azerbaijan. We highly value the friendship between our countries and look forward to further strengthening our cooperation and partnership."
The Lithuanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs also expressed its warm wishes to the Azerbaijani people, noting its appreciation for the ongoing partnership between the two nations and wishing the country peace, stability, and economic prosperity.
The GUAM Secretariat joined in the celebrations, posting a message on X: "The GUAM Secretariat congratulates the Republic of Azerbaijan on the occasion of Independence Day."
Azerbaijan's Independence Day, celebrated annually, commemorates the restoration of the country's sovereignty and is a significant date in the nation's modern history. These international greetings underscore the growing diplomatic ties and bilateral cooperation Azerbaijan maintains with partners across Europe, Asia, and regional organizations like GUAM, which focuses on fostering democratic and economic development among its member states.
