International football figures watched the Sabah–Qarabag match in person during the ninth round of the Misli Premier League.
FIFA President Gianni Infantino and former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger were among those in attendance. AFFA President Rovshan Najaf also watched from the stands.
Those attending the match also included Azerbaijan’s Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov and AFFA Secretary General Elkhan Mammadov. Rovshan Najaf watched the game wearing a shirt bearing the number 7.
The match between Sabah and Qarabag ended in a goalless draw, 0-0.
