Hakan Fidan meets British counterpart in New York

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan met with British Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband in New York.

Reports said Fidan is continuing his diplomatic contacts in New York, where he is attending the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly.

As part of his meetings, he held talks with British Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband.

Türkiye’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs also shared information about the meeting on its social media account.

The UN General Assembly brings together representatives of member states to discuss major international, political and security issues. High-level meetings on the sidelines of the session are frequently used for bilateral consultations and coordination on regional and global matters.
