The rank of Colonel Fuzuli Imraliyev, deputy head of the State Agency for the Protection of Strategic Facilities, has been raised.
“Operative Information Center-OMM” reports, citing Unikal, that Imraliyev has been awarded the rank of major general.
During the Patriotic War, he commanded the “Kobra” Special Forces Detachment of the Internal Troops. Imraliyev took part in battles in the directions of Hadrut and Shusha and was wounded during the Dashalti operation.
On Dec. 9, 2020, President Ilham Aliyev awarded Fuzuli Imraliyev the honorary title of “Hero of the Patriotic War” by decree.
