The visitors opened the scoring in the 12th minute. Sara sent a free kick into the penalty area, where Osimhen headed the ball into the net. In the 28th minute, Yunus Akgün made it 2-0 with a shot from outside the penalty area after receiving a pass from Batrakov.
In the 49th minute, Sara set up Batrakov with a pass from the left wing. Batrakov scored from inside the penalty area to extend the lead to three goals. Leao converted a penalty in the 55th minute. Referee Cihan Aydın awarded the spot kick after consulting the VAR monitor following Baniya’s challenge in the 52nd minute.
Earlier in the match, Leao failed to open the scoring in the seventh minute when goalkeeper Bahadır Güngördü saved his shot. In the 30th minute, Uğurcan Çakır cleared a goal-bound ball off the line after Eren Elmalı’s intervention. Muleka’s header hit the post in the 39th minute, while Bardhi’s shot went wide in the 73rd. The match ended with Galatasaray winning 4-0.
