Yemen’s military said Friday that the Houthi group targeted Aden International Airport and the Maashiq Presidential Palace in the southern city of Aden with ballistic missiles, according to Anadolu Agency.
Military spokesman Majed Abdullah al-Nuzaili said in a statement that the Houthis had launched missiles at both sites.
The reported attacks came a day after Aden airport resumed operations following a temporary suspension caused by a Houthi missile strike on Wednesday.
Yemeni authorities said two civilians were injured and the airport was damaged in Wednesday’s attack, prompting emergency repairs to the runway.
