Houthi forces launched eight ballistic missiles towards the northeastern Yemeni city of Marib on Sunday, local authorities said, according to Anadolu Agency.
The Marib governorate announced the attack in a statement on Facebook.
Marib is home to a large population of internally displaced people and remains under the control of Yemen’s internationally recognized government.
Yemen has been in conflict since the Houthis seized Sanaa and several provinces in 2014. A Saudi-led coalition intervened the following year in support of the internationally recognized government.
The latest fighting began in July, and a 2022 truce broke down.
