Flick: Emery is one of Europe’s best coaches, perhaps the world’s

Barcelona head coach Hans-Dieter Flick has praised Aston Villa manager Unai Emery ahead of their teams’ meeting in the fourth round of the Champions League league phase.

“He is one of the best coaches in Europe, perhaps in the world. He has achieved great success. His team plays with a clear structure in both defence and attack. Everything is very clear in his team,” Flick told Marca.

The German coach also highlighted Aston Villa’s confidence in possession. “It is incredible to see a team like his being so confident on the ball. It will be a difficult game against a good team and a good coach,” Flick said.

Barcelona and Aston Villa are scheduled to meet on November 3. The match will kick off at 00:00 Baku time on November 4.
