Fenerbahce has handed Dirk Kuyt technical responsibility for its football team until the league break for international matches.
The club said in a statement that its board had discussed matters related to the technical structure at a meeting. Following the discussions, it decided that Kuyt would be responsible for the first-team technical duties until the break.
A committee appointed by the board will oversee the search for a new head coach. The club said it would move the process forward quickly.
Before the international break, Fenerbahce will face Goztepe, Liverpool and Corum FK.
