Erdogan to call for justice in UN General Assembly address

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will once again call for justice and voice the concerns of oppressed people and those seeking redress in his address to the UN General Assembly, Presidential Communications Director Burhanettin Duran said.

In a post on Türkiye’s social media platform “NSosyal”, Duran said the voice of Türkiye and the voice of conscience would once again be heard from the UN podium.

Erdogan is set to address the UN General Assembly for the 16th time, according to Duran.

Erdogan to speak for oppressed people

“Our president will once again speak out for justice in an address that will make our nation proud, and he will be the voice of the oppressed, those whose voices go unheard, and those awaiting justice,” Duran said.

He added that Erdogan would bring the call for justice “from Gaza to the oppressed around the world” to the shared conscience of humanity.

Call for a more just international order

Duran said the world deserved a fairer order in which justice, the rule of law and the voice of humanity would be decisive.

“For a more just world, Erdogan is the voice of justice,” he said.
