The Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) of the Republic of Azerbaijan successfully conducted a rescue operation in the city of Ganja after receiving an alert via the "112" hotline regarding a citizen who had fallen into the Ganja River and was unable to move.
This information was provided to the Operative Information Center-OMM by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
According to official reports, rescue teams from the Ganja Regional Center of the MES were immediately dispatched to the scene upon receiving the distress call. Upon arrival and assessment of the operational situation, it was determined that 36-year-old Goshgar Arif oglu Shirinov had accidentally fallen into the river gorge, sustaining bodily injuries that left him stranded.
Utilizing specialized rescue equipment, the emergency personnel successfully extracted the individual from the gorge. Following the rescue, the citizen was handed over to the emergency medical services for necessary treatment.
