Azerbaijan's Defense Minister, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, has sent a letter of condolences to the Chief of Army Staff of the Pakistan Army, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the message states:
"I was deeply saddened by the news of the death of 14 people, including 12 military personnel, and the injury of 24 others as a result of a vehicle-borne explosive attack on a security forces post in the Tank district of Pakistan's northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province."
"I pray for the souls of those who lost their lives in this explosion, share the grief of their loved ones, and extend my deepest condolences to their families. I wish a speedy recovery to the injured. May God have mercy on the departed," the message reads.
Pakistan and Azerbaijan maintain strong bilateral relations, characterized by strategic cooperation in defense and security sectors.
