Fines for failing to submit an annual report on the results of environmental production monitoring are set to change.
“Operative Information Center-OMM” reports that amendments to the Criminal Code and the Code of Administrative Offenses have been proposed.
The draft amendments were discussed at a meeting of the parliamentary Committee on Legal Policy and State Building today.
Under the document, officials would be fined 3,000 manats and legal entities 8,000 manats for failing to submit, on time, an annual report on environmental production monitoring results to the body designated by the relevant executive authority.
The draft also stipulates fines of 2,000 manats for officials and 4,000 manats for legal entities that fail to submit an environmental impact assessment document to the designated body for publication on its official website.
