Azerbaijan, which hosted COP29, is providing strong support to Türkiye in connection with COP31.
"Operative Information Center-OMM" reports that Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov made the statement at a joint press briefing with his Turkish counterpart, Hakan Fidan, in Baku.
He said Azerbaijan would participate in COP31 at a high level.
Countries hosting the annual UN climate conferences play a central role in coordinating discussions on climate action, emissions reductions and adaptation. COP31 is expected to bring together representatives of governments and international organizations to address these priorities.
