In accordance with the training plan approved by Defense Minister Zakir Hasanov, ceremonies marking the commencement of the new training year have been held across the various branches, formations, military units, and specialized educational institutions of the Azerbaijan Army.

During the events, speakers emphasized the tasks set before the Azerbaijan Army by President, Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, as well as the orders and directives issued by the Defense Minister and the General Staff regarding the maintenance of high-level combat readiness among personnel.
The importance of increasing the quality and intensity of training exercises, particularly through the integration of advanced methodologies and high-technology systems, was highlighted. It was noted that, following the instructions of the Defense Minister and incorporating the combat experience gained during the 44-day Patriotic War and subsequent operations, the training process will focus on enhancing the proficiency of personnel in effectively utilizing modern combat equipment and weaponry under diverse climatic and challenging terrain conditions, both day and night.
The strengthening of the material-technical base, the implementation of automated command and control systems, and effective planning are expected to provide a solid foundation for high-quality combat training in the new academic period. The Azerbaijan Army continues to modernize its capabilities, ensuring it remains prepared to defend the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Azerbaijan against any potential threats.
