President Ilham Aliyev has sent a congratulatory letter to Czech President Petr Pavel.
“Operative Information Center-OMM” reports that the letter said:
“Dear Mr. President,
On the occasion of the national holiday of the Czech Republic, I extend my most sincere congratulations and best wishes to you and the entire Czech people on behalf of myself and the people of Azerbaijan.
We are pleased that Azerbaijan-Czech relations, which have a strong tradition, are developing dynamically today. Active political dialogue provides a good foundation for expanding our cooperation in the economic, energy, transport, defense industry, humanitarian and other fields.
I believe that by making use of the existing opportunities and through our joint efforts, we will further deepen our interstate relations, which have great potential, and our effective cooperation.
On this significant day, I wish you good health and happiness, and the friendly people of the Czech Republic lasting peace and prosperity.”
