President Ilham Aliyev sent a congratulatory letter to Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva.
“Operative Information Center-OMM” reports that the letter said:
“I sincerely congratulate you on your re-election as President of the Federative Republic of Brazil.
Azerbaijan attaches great importance to developing friendly ties with Brazil. I believe that we will continue our joint efforts to strengthen interstate relations and expand cooperation of mutual interest, both bilaterally and multilaterally, in line with the interests of our peoples.
I wish you robust health, happiness and success in your high state office for the prosperity of the friendly people of Brazil.”
