President Ilham Aliyev has sent a congratulatory letter to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
The letter said, Operative Information Center-OMM reports:
“Dear Mr. President,
My dear brother,
On the occasion of the national holiday of the brotherly Republic of Türkiye — Republic Day on October 29 — I am pleased to convey my heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to you and, through you, to the entire Turkish people, on my own behalf and on behalf of the people of Azerbaijan.
Azerbaijan and Türkiye are bound by genuine ties of friendship and brotherhood that have stood the test of time. With the Shusha Declaration, which we signed together in 2021, relations between our countries reached their highest level — that of alliance — and acquired a qualitatively new substance and character.
On this holiday, I wish you good health and happiness, success in your high state duties, and lasting peace and prosperity for the brotherly Republic of Türkiye and its people.”
