Aliyev congratulates Bulgaria’s president-elect Iliana Iotova

President Ilham Aliyev sent a congratulatory letter to Bulgarian President Iliana Iotova.

"Operativ Məlumat Mərkəzi-OMM" reports that the letter reads:

“Dear Madam President,

I extend my heartfelt congratulations to you on your election as President of the Republic of Bulgaria.

I am pleased with the current level of Azerbaijan-Bulgaria interstate relations, which are based on strong traditions and are developing in a spirit of mutual respect and trust.

I am confident that we will continue our joint efforts to further strengthen the friendly ties between our countries and successfully advance our mutually beneficial cooperation and strategic partnership.

I wish you good health and happiness, and success in your high state office for the prosperity of the friendly Bulgarian people.”
