Crown Prince of the State of Kuwait, Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah, has sent a congratulatory letter to President Ilham Aliyev.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the message reads:
"Assalamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu.
It is my pleasure to convey to Your Excellency my sincerest congratulations on the occasion of the anniversary of the Independence Day of the friendly Republic of Azerbaijan.
I take this opportunity to wish you good health and success, and to the Republic of Azerbaijan and its friendly people, continued progress and prosperity."
Diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Kuwait have historically been characterized by mutual respect and cooperation within international organizations, including the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and the Non-Aligned Movement. Both nations have actively sought to strengthen economic ties, particularly in the energy and investment sectors, fostering a partnership that continues to develop through high-level diplomatic exchanges and bilateral agreements.
