Two foreign nationals attempting to enter the country illegally were detained in an operation by State Border Service officers.
Foreign nationals attempting to violate the state border have been detained.
The State Border Service told Operative Information Center-OMM.
Three citizens of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan were detained during operational measures in the service area of the State Border Service Border Troops’ Lankaran border detachment. They had allegedly attempted to cross the state border from Iran into Azerbaijan.
Operational and investigative measures are continuing in connection with the case.
