The Turkish Minister of Family and Social Services, Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş, has announced that state support continues for regions affected by recent forest fires. According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the state has mobilized all available resources following the wildfires that impacted the provinces of Aydın, Balıkesir, Antalya, and Muğla.
Minister Göktaş stated that the primary objective is to normalize life in the affected areas as quickly as possible and to address the immediate needs of the citizens. To facilitate this, a total of 25 million Turkish liras has been allocated to the affected regions to cover essential requirements.
The ministry noted that teams are currently visiting affected families through Social Assistance and Solidarity Foundations, with ongoing efforts to assess the damages caused by the fires. Minister Göktaş reaffirmed the government's commitment to standing by the affected citizens and extended her well wishes to those impacted by the disaster.
