Speed limits have been lowered on several roads due to weather conditions, and “slippery road” signs have been activated on electronic displays.

“Operative Information Center-OMM” reports that the Interior Ministry’s Intelligent Transport Management Center issued the information.

Due to rainy weather currently affecting several areas of Baku, the speed limit on the Zigh Circle-Airport road has been set at 40 km/h, while limits on all lanes of Heydar Aliyev Avenue and the Mardakan-Zugulba roads have been lowered by 20 km/h.

The ministry’s Intelligent Transport Management Center staff updated the information and speed displays accordingly. “Slippery road” signs have also been shown on all displays.
