The speed limit has been reduced on Zigh Highway in the direction of the airport.
The Interior Ministry’s Intelligent Transport Management Center announced the change, Operative Information Center-OMM reports.
Road marking work is currently being carried out on Zigh Highway toward the airport by the relevant authority.
To ensure the safety of road users, the ministry’s center has made changes to the speed information boards near the work site.
The speed limit in one lane has been lowered to 40 km/h until the work is completed. “X” symbols have been activated on overhead gantries to prevent vehicles from entering the other lanes and to alert drivers in advance.
Drivers are urged to exercise caution on this section of the road and observe the speed limit.
