U.S. President Donald Trump called Norway a “failed” country and a “dump” during a rally in Michigan, criticizing it for not awarding him the Nobel Peace Prize.
“Operative Information Center-OMM” reports, citing News.ru.
Trump said the prize would go to “a woman nobody knows.” Former UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Navi Pillay was awarded the 2026 Nobel Peace Prize. The American leader reacted strongly to the decision.
“To be honest, Norway stinks. Norway has actually become a dump of a country. And the prize went to a woman nobody has ever heard of. I said, ‘What about me? Do they give out two prizes?’” he said.
