Toral Bayramov, an Azerbaijan international playing for Turkish club Bursaspor, has spoken about adapting to his new team and Turkish football. The 25-year-old winger said that although he had moved to a different league, settling into the environment had not been difficult and things were going as he had expected.
Bayramov said that, having previously played only for Qarabag FK in his career, getting used to Bursaspor’s system and different demands had been difficult at first. He said he now felt ready to play and was working individually to earn the coach’s trust and develop.
Bayramov played the full 90 minutes for the first time and provided an assist in Bursaspor’s 3-0 win over Bandırmaspor. He said the match had gone well but that he could have played better. He added that he had no problems with the coaches and that carrying out the instructions was the players’ job.
Fans and Sabah’s match
Bayramov described Bursaspor’s fans as incredible, saying they support the team both at home and away. He said he also hoped to see the stands in Azerbaijan full at all times.
The footballer said he followed Sabah’s matches in the tournament, adding that the team played attractive football and remained true to its style. Bayramov said he believed Sabah would return from Norway with a win against Viking.
He also said the goal he scored against Norway’s Bodø/Glimt while playing for Qarabag FK was the most important and beautiful of his career. Bayramov said he hoped to continue scoring goals like that.
