The participation of Azerbaijan as a full-fledged member in the Consultative Meetings marks a new milestone in the positive development of our format.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, this statement was made by President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev during the meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asian countries and Azerbaijan, held in the city of Cholpon-Ata, Kyrgyzstan.
The President of Kazakhstan emphasized: "Thanks to our joint efforts, conditions are being created for further deepening political dialogue, as well as for investments, energy, industry, and the formation of a unified transport and logistics system."
According to Tokayev, recent years have seen a steady increase in intra-regional trade, the expansion of business ties, the creation of new joint ventures, the implementation of collaborative investment projects, and the strengthening of humanitarian relations.
The Consultative Meetings of the Heads of State of Central Asia serve as a crucial platform for strengthening regional integration and addressing shared geopolitical and economic challenges. By integrating into this framework, Azerbaijan further solidifies its position as a key bridge between the Caspian region and Central Asia, leveraging its strategic location and infrastructure projects to enhance connectivity across the Eurasian continent.
